When Hadar and Craig chose Maritime Parc as their wedding venue, they picked one of the most stunning backdrops in all of Jersey City. With the Manhattan skyline glittering across the water and Liberty State Park’s open skies overhead, the setting practically begged to be captured on film – and that’s exactly what we did.
A Wedding Film Like No Other
This was a winter wedding, and winter in Jersey City has its own quiet magic. The muted tones, the soft diffused light, the bare trees framing the waterfront – it all made for an incredibly cinematic day. To honor both the timeless feel of the location and the warmth of Hadar and Craig’s love story, I filmed their wedding using two formats: modern digital cinema cameras paired with drone footage, and Super 8 film.
