Hi, I'm Alek - the lead videographer and founder of A-Roll Films. For over five years I've been doing what I love most: telling real, human stories through the lens of a camera. As a wedding videographer in New York and New Jersey, I've built my work around one simple belief - your wedding film should feel as real and alive as the day itself.

A Love for All Things Analog

While I work with professional digital cinema cameras, my heart has always been pulled toward the authentic and the real. As one of the few Super 8 videographers in New York and New Jersey, I actively shoot weddings, engagements, and save-the-dates on Super 8 film. There's a warmth, a grain, and an organic quality to Super 8 footage that no digital filter can replicate. It looks like a memory. It feels like one too.

I also shoot on VHS for couples who want that raw, nostalgic aesthetic. Whether it's Super 8, VHS, or digital cinema - I love anything that's real, tactile, and authentic.
