Timeless Analog Storytelling

Super 8 Film Videography

There's something Super 8 does that no digital camera can replicate — it slows everything down. The grain, the warmth, the slight flicker turns a moment into a memory. Our Super 8 wedding videography in New York City and New Jersey is shot on real Kodak film, developed by hand, and returned as footage that feels like it was always meant to be kept forever.

Wedding Videographer in New York & New Jersey

Your wedding day is a chapter in your love story - and as a wedding videographer in New York and New Jersey, my commitment is to turn every moment into a film you'll return to for the rest of your life. From intimate ceremonies in the Hudson Valley to grand celebrations in Manhattan, I bring expertise, a genuine eye for emotion, and a deep passion for cinematic storytelling to every single wedding I film.

What sets my approach apart is a love for both the modern and the analog. I shoot with professional digital cinema cameras and drones for sweeping, high-definition imagery - and I also specialize in Super 8 film wedding videography in New York, capturing your day on real vintage film stock for a warm, grainy, timeless aesthetic that no digital filter can replicate. Many couples choose a hybrid of both formats, combining the clarity of digital with the soul of film.

Drone cinematography is a core part of how I work. Virtually every wedding I film includes aerial footage - whether it's a bird's-eye view of a waterfront venue in Jersey City, a sweeping shot over an Upstate New York estate, or a golden-hour flyover of a Long Island ceremony. These are the frames that give a wedding film its cinematic scale and make a venue come alive in a way that nothing else can.

For couples who want a seamless experience, I partner closely with wedding photographer Alina Delfino to offer combined photo and video packages across New York and New Jersey. We work as one coordinated team - no miscommunication, no overlap, just two creatives who know exactly how to work alongside each other to get the best possible result for you. If you're ready to create something truly one of a kind, I'd love to hear about your wedding.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about booking a wedding videographer in New York & New Jersey.
Still have questions? Let's talk →

How much does wedding videography cost in NY/NJ?

Packages start at $2,500 for a full day of coverage. Pricing depends on hours, format (digital, Super 8, or hybrid), and add-ons. No travel fees within New York and New Jersey. Bundle with photography for a special rate.

What is Super 8 wedding videography?

Super 8 is real Kodak film - warm grain, natural flicker, a timeless cinematic look no digital camera can replicate. We shoot 1–2 rolls for highlights or go all-in with 5–7 rolls for full wedding day coverage. Super 8 is also available for engagements, elopements, secret proposals, and save the dates - any moment worth preserving on film

Do you film secret proposals?

Yes - discreet proposal filming is one of our specialties across NYC and NJ. We help with coordination and chosing the location in advance (rooftop, beach, restaurant) and position ourselves before you arrive. You get the real, unposed moment - exactly as it happened.

Is drone footage included in the packages?

Drone footage is included in most packages. Coverage depends on weather conditions and venue or location permits - some indoor venues, parks, and urban areas restrict drone use. We check permissions in advance and always have a backup plan to ensure your film looks cinematic regardless.

How long does editing and delivery take?

Highlight reel: 4–6 weeks. Full wedding film: 4–8 weeks. Super 8 adds 2–4 weeks for film processing and scanning. All files are delivered via a private link in cloud.

Can I book photo and video together?

Absolutely. We work alongside Alina Delfino Photography as a unified creative team - one booking, seamless day-of coverage, and special bundle pricing for NY and NJ weddings.

Do you travel outside New York and New Jersey?

We are based in the New York area but available nationwide and worldwide. We regularly travel to California, Washington, Florida, and beyond - as well as destination weddings in Italy, Spain, Dominican Republic, Turks and Caicos, and more. Travel fees may apply depending on location.

What's the difference between a highlight reel and a full wedding film?

A highlight reel is a 4–8 minute cinematic edit - the emotional peaks, the first look, the vows, the first dance - set to music and crafted to feel like a short film. A full wedding film is a complete documentary of your day: ceremony in full, speeches, candid moments, and everything in between, typically 25–45 minutes. We also offer an extended documentary cut up to 90 minutes - every meaningful moment preserved exactly as it unfolded.

Can we choose the music for our wedding film?

Absolutely. You're welcome to share your favorite songs - we love when the film feels personal to you. The one thing we look for is that the tempo and mood of the track match the flow of the story. We'll guide you if needed, but your taste always comes first.

Do you require a deposit to hold our date?

Yes - we require a 15–25% deposit to officially reserve your date. The remainder follows a flexible payment schedule leading up to your wedding. We'll walk you through everything during the booking process so there are no surprises.

Do you offer Super 8 for engagements, elopements, and proposals?

Absolutely - and honestly, these are some of my favorite moments to shoot on film. Super 8 brings an intimacy and warmth to engagement sessions, elopements, and secret proposals that digital simply can't match. The grain, the light leaks, the imperfection - it all makes the moment feel even more real.
